who we are

Co-Founder | Chair
Giulia Raffaelli
A graduate in Philosophy and Modern Languages, a journalist and editor, she has extensive experience in external relations, particularly in international and crisis settings.
With UNHCR, she has worked in Italy, Niger, Sudan, Iran, and on the South Sudan issue. A polyglot, amateur musician, and amateur athlete, she firmly believes in the role of universal languages as a tool for empowerment—individual and collective—and in interpersonal communication.

Co-Founder | Co-Chair
Marzia Vigliaroni, PhD
A clinical and community psychologist, she holds a PhD in Contemporary Society Education and is the co-founder of the specialized master's degree programs in Mental Health in Humanitarian Contexts offered by the Foundation of the European College of Parma.
After a career in international cooperation that took her to Madagascar, the Central African Republic, and Niger, first with COOPI and then with UNHCR, her approach sees academic training as complementary to field experience. Today, she continues her studies to incorporate techniques that respect energetic values—in their various facets—in personal and psychic care.

Co-Founder
Chiara Piccoli, PhD
A lecturer and researcher in the field of humanistic digital reconstruction, she has worked on numerous international projects. Her research focuses on the use and critical analysis of methods such as spatial mapping (GIS), 3D modeling, and artificial intelligence to explore historic urban landscapes, architectural heritage, and the cultural significance of domestic spaces.
Her passion for interdisciplinary research leads her to combine archaeology, archival documents, architectural history, and digital methods, promoting an integrated approach to understanding the past.
